iZotope develops professional audio software for audio recording, mixing, broadcast, sound design, and mastering which can be used in wide range of Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) programs. is an audio technology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. I feel you can get similar results with other effects, but this method is a real time saver.IZotope, Inc. I also appreciate having multiple controls on one gui so that you dont have to keep going from vst to vst and making individual tweaks. And I like that the presets quickly get you in the ballpark of what you are looking for. What I like, in general about Izotopes approach is that it gives you quick access to effects chains so I don't have to remember what effects and what order I used for a process. If I were geared toward vocals I would go with Nectar, or consider both. I have not used Nectar, but it looks to be a similar format to Alloy, just geared toward and with additional features for vocals.

That said, for those ready to add some plug-in toys, I really like Izotopes stuff. First off, at the risk of being repetitive and to limit sending the wrong message, I am the guy who always says stuff like "learn to use what you have well first, no plug-in candy will substitute for skill, knowledge and experience" or "the very best plug-in is the guy at the mouse and keyboard".
